Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts and theories of social psychology and to address the problems of the dominant scientific paradigm in social psychology and the possibilities of critical social psychology.
Course Content:	Basic Concepts of Social Psychology, Attitude, Perception, Motivation, Communication, Roles, Group, Socialization, Culture, Personality, Language Theories of Social Psychology The relationship between industrial and social psychology Politics and social psychology Basic Cases in Social Psychology Language and Communication Collective Interaction and Social Movements

1) Defines the basic concepts of social psychology such as attitude, perception, motivation, propaganda, communication, roles, group, socialization, culture, personality, language, collective interaction and social movements, urban and environmental psychology.
2) Recognize the basic theories of social psychology.
3) Summarize the basic phenomena in social psychology
4) Explain the frame of reference of experiences and behaviors.
5) Evaluates the relationships between factors in various psychological events.
6) Interprets the mainstays and the cultural differences in the construction of the experience.
7) Compare the views of the dominant and critical paradigm in social psychology.
8) Interpret the relationship between industrial structure and social psychology.
9) Criticizes racist, sexist and all kinds of discriminatory policies in social psychological analysis
10) Interprets the social psychological aspects of public debates from a critical perspective.
