Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:
The aim of this course is to develop awareness of child neglect and abuse as well as to provide information on prevention and intervention methods.
Course Content: The concepts of child abuse and neglect, child abuse, neglect and reasons of economic exploitation of the child, physical, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and neglect; signs of abuse and neglect of children in children and families, their results on society, both in Turkey and in the world in terms of child abuse cases, the initial clinical interview with children and abused; Abusive; legal issues for the protection of children, child protection systems and institutions in Turkey, child abuse and neglect in terms of risk groups; child abuse and neglect prevention
