Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In the course, current research fields and methods in Translation Studies are examined. The course also aims to shape a research project: (i) the selection of research topic, (ii) the planning of research, (iii) the presentation of a research proposal, (iv) the use of efficient and effective research techniques. Students are expected to link different theoretical/conceptual approaches to an appropriate research area. Additionally, basic principles in the writing of the research, bibliography and referencing systems are also discussed.
