Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Editorial photography nowadays involves telling visual stories from news photography in print media to magazine photography and the vast universe of the internet world. In this content, editorial photography intersects with commercial and industrial photography (especially fashion and architectural photography types) at various points.
Course Content: History of photography, photography art, basic elements of photography, camera parts, depth of field, light and light measurement, digital photography, auxiliary photographic accessories, composition in photography, Photography and Society, Creating a documentary project, Applied outdoor photography in current environment Current news photographs on portrait, nature, space photography, news photography; news appropriateness discussions.

1) Define basic photography concepts, summarize the historical development of photography, correctly identify the equipment to be used, explain the correct exposure concept with photography techniques.

1) Ability to use the camera, adjust the light measurement mechanism, aperture, shutter and sharpness system, and apply original photographic techniques that can shoot with a fully manual approach.

1) To be able to organize photography projects for the social environment in which he lives with a sense of social responsibility, to define the relationship with other communication branches and to develop solutions to social problems in this context.
