Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: At the end of this course, the students;
1) Defining the basic principles of hemiplegia, types and etiologia.
2) Defining different neurophysiologic approach principles
3) Assesing and treating the hemiplegic patients according to Brunnstrom neurophysiologic approach principles
4) Assesing and treating the hemiplegic patients according to Bobath neurophysiologic approach principles
5) Assesing and treating the hemiplegic patients according to Margaret Johnstone approach principles
Course Content: Introduction to Hemiplegia
Basic principles in neurophysiological approach
Evaluation of hemiplegic patient according to Bobath approach
Evaluation of hemiplegic patient according to Brunstrom approach
Evaluation of hemiplegic patient according to Johnstone approach
Comparison of neurophysiological methods
