2) Summarizes the classification and etiology of diseases by having basic knowledge of periodontal and periimplant diseases, comprehends diagnosis and treatment planning.
3) Defines general, non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatments of periodontal and periimplant diseases and performs these treatments.
4) Have the ability to consult with other dentistry specialties and/or medical faculty when necessary.
5) Comprehends planning, coordinating and making presentations and/or publications by paying attention to the ethical rules related to the science of periodontology.
6) Have the ability to make presentations in scientific meetings, courses and congresses.
7) Raises the awareness of patients and society in order to prevent periodontal diseases.
