Aim of the Programme

The health of society is directly proportional to the health of the individuals constituting the society. The nutrition that forms the basis of health is a special condition for the individual. Factors such as age, gender, physical activity, socioeconomic status, blood biochemical values ​​of the persons, past illnesses, presence or absence of an existing disease state are factors affecting the diet of the people. The nutritional scheme to be prepared by taking all these factors into consideration for the persons can only be established by consultation of dietitians who have been educated in this respect. The training that the dietitian can take in order to be able to counsel in this regard is of great importance. The aim of the department is to improve the skills of students to analyze and synthesize the information they receive by teaching and teaching in accordance with contemporary and international standards in the field of nutrition and dietetics and to carry out quality research and projects in the field of nutrition and dietetics and to provide consultancy services for the society, implement and develop effective and participatory strategic plans in order to keep satisfaction at the highest level.
