Course Objectives:

The aim of this course is to provide students with; the structure of the financial system; stylized facts about the financial system; asymmetric information in financial markets; adverse selection and moral hazard; dynamics of financial crises; interest calculations; money markets; the bond market; stock market and market efficiency; mortgage market; foreign exchange market; to effectively convey information about the international financial system and financial regulations.
