Course Objectives: | At the end of this course, the student will be able to • Express thoughts and emotions effectively using body language. • Create and organize authentic speaking activities • Demonstrate effective use of technology in presentations. • Organize and participate in drama activities. • Research/Organize material, and present informative speeches • Identify and correct fossilized grammar errors. |
Course Content: | The course focuses on communication-oriented speaking such as discussions, individual presentations and other interactive tasks; formal and informal language; informative and persuasive presentations; supra-segmental features (pitch, stress and intonation); use of audiovisual aids (OHP, power point, posters) and techniques. |
