Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: At the end of this course, the student will be able to
• Explain the theoretical and conceptual background of instructional technologies and material design.
• Explain the process of preparation of instructional materials.
• Explain characteristics of materials used in educational settings.
• Design an instructional material.
• Evaluate different instructional materials.
Course Content: Basic concepts of instructional technology and material design issues, teaching methods, the underlying learning theories, design principles and materials to be used in teaching and integration of computer technologies in education.
