Course Objectives: At the end of this course, the student will be able to
• Identify Main Stages Of The History Of English Literature.
• Describe Basic Literary Concepts Within Historical Perspective.
• Identify Classical Texts From English Literature.
• Interpret To Interpret Classical Texts Of English Literature.
• Discriminate Characteristics Of Literary Genres.
• Compare Classical Texts Of English Literature From Different Periods.
• Develop Their Vocabulary Through Literary Texts.
• Discuss A Thematic Or Linguistic Question About A Literary Text.
Course Content: This course designed to define basic knowledge of samples from classics of English literature,and analyze these samples; explain basic types within the contexts of literary periods and related literary concepts; develop language skills through the practice of language skills and cultural knowledge attained from the study of selected texts.
