Course Objectives: Basic concepts and philosophy of open and distance learning on examining the development of the world and in Turkey.
Course Content: Basic concepts and philosophy of open and distance learning;
development of distance education in the world; development of distance education in Turkey; learner and guide roles in distance education; used in distance education technologies; management of open and distance education; Open and distance classroom management and components in learning; open education resources and trends in the world; mass open online courses; personalized learning environments; problems with open and distance education and their solution; open and distance education practices in teacher training; development of individual teaching material in open and distance education and student support services; Teaching for different learning situations identification of strategies; research in distance education and evaluation.
