Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to understand the importance of family education and participation in terms of child development and education, to develop ways to communicate effectively while working with parents, to develop strategies for including parents the child's educational development, to be aware of family programs applied in Turkey and world and obtain information about them. |
Course Content: | Basic concepts about family education; the importance, objectives and principles of family education; family education models; family theories (Family System Theory, Social Theory, Bioecological Theory, Structural Functional Theory); family education practices in Turkey and in other countries; planning, implementing and evaluating family education studies; methods and techniques used in family education; family involvement activities . |
