Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to provide students with children in Turkey and the world of law and the rights of the child and place their counselors have knowledge about the role and functions. |
Course Content: | The concept of child protection, the concept of child law, concept of children's rights, historical development of children's rights in world law, children's rights in international treaties, basic principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, child and legal status in Turkish legal system, , special children's law, social assistance and security, the handling of children in education and employment law, the duty of psychological counselors to protect children's rights, the roles and functions of psychological counselors |
