Course Objectives: | The purpose of this course is to examine counseling theories and treatment planning, including psychodynamic, humanistic-existential, cognitive-behavioral, feminist and solution-focused theories, including an examination of the evidence base and history of the counseling profession. Emphasis is placed on applications with diverse populations in community, school and college settings. |
Course Content: | Research topics in the field of guidance and counseling. Improvements in the area of guidance and counseling, and new developments in guidance and counseling.
