Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The purpose of this course is to provide general information about playing activities in childhood. Moreover, this lecture also focuses on different approaches that related to developmental process of playing activities in childhood period and describes how to develop different playing skills that related to physical activities.
Course Content: • Define the nature of the game and their activities in preschool
• Provide general information about childhood physical education
• Help to define the necessary equipment to develop physical activity skills
• Focus on the objectives of physical education preschool program details.
• Prepare the general methods and techniques that can be used in the process for the preparation of pre-school physical education programs
• Define the period of contributions to the physical development of physical education

2) • Define Muscular and skeletal development • Discuss the stages of motor development skills • Explain object control skills • Identify body balance, coordination, flexibility the concepts
3) • Define psycho motor development • Explain movement education • Discuss physical development in prenatal stage
4) • Identify Physical development during early childhood period (2-6 years) • Define Physical development during childhood period (6-12 years) • Explain Physical development during adolescence period (12-18 years)
5) • Explain Physical activity in accordance to Montessori approach. • Discuss Physical activity in accordance to Reggio Emilia approach • Identify Physical activity accordance to Waldorf approach
6) • Explain the importance of playing games in childhood period. • Discuss the importance of winning and losing games for children • Identify the main characteristic of playground.
7) • Identify the importance of the muscle exercise for babies • Explain the structure of muscle ton exercise for babies • Discuss the positive factor of doing an exercise in infant period.
