Course Objectives: | Existing theories about the world and in Turkey Equal Opportunity in Education, provides awareness by examining the paradigms and approaches. |
Course Content: | 1- Academic performance - intelligence relationship 2- Human capital, cultural capital and talent pool 3- Social mobility and education 4- Generally, the concept of equality of opportunity and education with the concept of equality of opportunity 5- Theories and approaches developed in equality of education 6- Education Factors that create inequality of opportunity and accordingly, the types of inequality of opportunity seen in information societies 7- Classification of education systems in the world in terms of equality of opportunity in education and discussion of their characteristics 8- Effects of stratified school systems and individuals on educational life 9- Academic and vocational education dilemma 10- Different education system of Turkish evaluation in terms of school system models 11- Evaluation of the laws and practices that regulate the transitions of students between education levels 12- Evaluation of students' social status and their academic and social achievements effects of 13- Democratic education and the concept of equal opportunity in education on this subject The effects of the transition system to higher education on the individual and the school system in the Turkish Education system |
