Course Objectives: | 1. will be able to design an original scientific research topic. 1.1. Identifies a research topic related to one of the branches of pharmacognosy that interests him/her. 1.2. Discusses the basic information related to the topic. 1.3. Compiles recent literature information related to the topic. 1.4. organizes the compiled information. 1.5. Based on the information collected, proposes an original hypothesis for a new area of research that has not yet been studied. 2. Construct the experimental methods necessary to conduct research related to the hypothesis. 2.1. Compiles the previously used experimental methods related to the pharmacognosy subject he/she wants to research. 2.2. questions the working principles of the devices to be used during the research. 2.3. Operates the devices to be used in the research. 2.4. Organizes the experimental parameters to be used during the research. 3. Will be able to analyze the data obtained as a result of his/her experiments. 3.1. Organizes the raw data obtained as a result of experiments. 3.2. Inquires the statistical method to analyze the data as necessary. 3.3. Runs the statistical program to analyze the data. 3.4. Performs data analysis in accordance with the study protocol. 3.5. Distinguishes the statistical significance of the experimental data analyzed. 4. will be able to evaluate the experimental data analyzed from a pharmacognostic point of view. 4.1. Interprets the results obtained from a pharmacognostic point of view. 4.2. Discusses the possible reasons for the findings obtained. 4.3. questions whether the findings obtained coincide with the hypothesis put forward at the beginning of the study. 5. Will be able to structure the findings of his/her scientific study in the form of a scientific report in the light of his/her own evaluations. 5.1. Explains the principles of preparing a scientific report. 5.2. Prepares a text including the hypothesis of the research, study methods, findings and evaluation of the findings. 5.3. Judges the contribution of the findings of his/her research to science in the report he/she prepared. 5.4. Suggests different research areas related to the subject based on the study and the results obtained. |
