Course Objectives: | The course focuses on the ability to teach Moroccan Arabic to students with modern teaching techniques. It aims to provide students with intermediate level grammar, correspondence and speaking skills of Fasih Arabic. Reading exercises are done through words. Reading and translating simple and short Arabic texts. It is aimed for the student to reach the level of reading and understanding Arabic texts at the basic II level. |
Course Content: | To be able to express oneself orally by using the words, rules and texts that the student has learned from the lessons, to fill in the form containing personal information using the Arabic alphabet, to have the students listen to the texts and dialogues determined in the following book, to ask verbal questions and to get answers, to improve comprehension and ear skills. |

1) | 1-2 Weeks: Understands the main lines of expressions in dialogues. When he visits an Arab country, if needed, he can rent an apartment and buy household items using the words and phrases he learned in the lesson. He tells where he lives, where he studied, what he does, using short and simple sentences. 3-5 Weeks: Understands a dialogue consisting of simple sentences correctly when read. Expresses daily habits in simple level. Writes sentences about activities in daily life. 6-7 Weeks: Solves the exercises of the book followed. Listens to the dialogues and reading passages and translates them from the target language to the mother tongue. After voicing the dialogues, he adapts the dialogue to himself in accordance with the situation given in the dialogue with his friend. 8 Weeks: Midterm exam 9-11 Weeks: Understands when reading texts or dialogues that contain the most common words about food and drink. When he visits an Arab country, he reads and understands the menu at the restaurant and orders from the menu, using the words and phrases he learned in the lesson, if needed. |
