Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to examine sociological approaches on concepts such as industrialization, labor, industrial relations, industrial society, employment, mass production, consumption, labor, organization, globalization, trade union, bureaucracy.Various theoretical perspectives such as industrial society, information society, post-industrial society theory in connection with industrialization; readings and daily life examples will be examined and discussed.Social consequences of industrial relations and social factors shaping industrial relations will be examined. The effects of industrialization will be analyzed in historical and cultural terms at the global and local levels.
