Course Objectives:

To explain the basic theories and concepts of the sociology of religion.

Course Content:

A religiously identifiable perspective emerges from the past to the present in all human communities. In today's world, the role and influence of religion in everyday life practice, social relations, and political processes are observable. During this course we will examine sociology of religion, the nature of religious beliefs, issues in sociology of religion and the importance of religion in the relations of society,
