Course Objectives: |
Conceptual of this course We will answer the following questions in a conceptual framework about love as a sociological phenomenon,
What is the connection between the ideal of romantic love and modernity?
How did love evolve in high modernity?
A community of psychological, psychological, and the practices of the relationship and the practices of connecting?
The idea of romantic love may be to have a romantic / connected capacity of environmentally friendly communities on intimate relationships in a room, how is the romantic love in gendered intellectual self projects in modernity |
Course Content: |
Many sociologists, who write about the practices of love and intimate relationships and their transformation, establish a direct connection between love and modernity and cultural institutions. The romantic love cultural model of the modern world becomes important in both male and female self-constructions and gendered subject practices, but especially as a fundamental source of meaning in the lives of women. In this course, in the light of different theoretical approaches, the relationship between modernity and romantic love will be examined in the fields of marriage migration, popular culture, social mobility etc. |
