Course Objectives: | To make students aware of literary translation as cultural transfer and make them translate Chinese literary texts into Turkish |
Course Content: | Chinese literary texts of various genres are chosen to be translated into Turkish. The students are informed about various translation strategies to be used in their translation. They are also made to concentrate oncertain methods useful methods to be used in cultural transfer that translation requires. |
