Aim of the Programme

The Arts and Cultural Management Department cultivates future cultural policy planners, arts directors, art directors and curators. Art editors publish editorials, text writings, stage and performing arts, and art director in related fields of media organizations. Cultural-art festivals, biennials, museums, private art collections and auctions are permanent work and research areas of our students. They can offer art counseling in specialized areas such as artistic purchases and sales, artwork protection-repair and artist consulting. In private collections, they control the collection and sale of the collection from the auctions and exhibitions, and manage the works of historical works care and support. In addition, they direct the collection owner's investments in art and assume the role of enriching the collection for the future. They provide counseling services for artists, and they organize their exhibition planning, art career planning in the business association. Students who have brought together these two elements required by the fields of art and design management can work in art galleries, culture and art magazines, biennials, auction companies, exhibition organizations, arts and culture foundations, art festivals and so on. As professional managers, they can work in corporate positions and organizational affairs. Besides; art criticism, editorials, text writing, art consulting and curatorial work. In addition, our students have the opportunity to work and make a career in areas such as the media and entertainment sector.
