Course Objectives: Gaining proper pronunciation habits in English, reading and writing phonemic transcription.
Course Content: • Human speech sounds: Consonants and vowels
• Human speech organs
• Criteria for categorising consonants
• Consonants and the IPA

• Diphthongs and triphthongs and the IPA
