Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The students will be able to gain various reading and critical thinking skills in this course such as higher order sub-skills of reading namely, making inferences and deductions, reading between the lines, relating inferences from the text to real life; reacting to readings etc.
Course Content: The course focuses on advanced reading and writing skills, sub-skills, basic research skills, different types of authentic reading texts, types of essays. Prerequisite: IDEP 101.
