Course Objectives: Teaching general knowledge about anthropology and its two sub-disciplines
Course Content: Anthropology, the word meaning of 'human science', is the science that examines the human with a holistic approach and comparative perspective and aims to recognize, understand and introduce different groups of people. The course discusses the comparisons of institutions and phenomena in different societies and cultures such as family, marriage, kinship, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, race, nationalism, politics, economy, belief, technology, media, globalization that give shape, meaning and direction to human life today. opens. We try to adopt the students who need to evaluate different human societies' attitudes and behavior patterns that are contrary to us at first glance by considering their cultural structure and adaptation strategies to natural environment.
