Course Objectives: | In general, to grow up an individual with rights-based approach. To gain the understanding of what and how to do when rights violation or deprivation of rights towards children occures. to provide a rights-based approach to entire issues faced. |
Course Content: | The importance and meaning of children's rights, children's rights in history, the importance of the children's rights agreement, principles of the children's rights agreement, measures for the implementation of the children's rights agreement, laws for the protection of children's rights, the place of the child in law, the best interests of the child, the right to life, survival and development of the child, separation from parents, juvenile courts, family courts, duties of the state for the protection of children's rights, obligations of the child towards the family and the public, children's legal, economic, social and cultural rights, rights of children in need of protection and at risk, prevention of neglect and abuse, different education of child rights education at the level of education, school-family-environment cooperation in child rights education, characteristics of pre-school children's rights education environments, examination of examples of activities related to pre-school children's rights, Yesterday or law and children in Turkey. |
